Following the recent resignation of Adrian Giardelli we at Pontardawe Town have appointed Marcus Coxon as our new Youth Development Manager

Marcus comes with a wealth of experience and has Pontardawe Town running in his veins. He has been a driving force in both our Minis and Junior sections over many years and, more recently, has been equally important to the Academy Section

Marcus will now work closely with our coaches Gareth Govier (Under 19s) and Andrew Besley (Under 18s).He will also bring together with our all our sections to ensure a continuous flow of players who will go on to represent our senior section and at a higher level

There remains one outstanding concern which the club is trying to resolve and that is coming to terms with Marcus being a Nottingham Forest supporter. The authorities have been notified and we await their reply in respect of this anomoly.
