A poor start at the Ron Jones Stadium saw Town go 1-0 down early to a very good AFC Llwydcoed who could have doubled their lead but the headed ball hit the bar. Town simply didn't get going for the first 20 minutes but then the remainder of the half belonged to the Town who were playing in their Blue Away kit
First up was Steffan Pryce who stooped low to head home after a good run by Roman Legavec. Next came a suberb free kick from Ben Scannell and finally, as half time loomed, man of the match Roman Legavec beat his opponent on the left and ran 40 metres to slot home with a great finish
The lads did though need to avoid complacency in the second half as the home team started to play as they did in the first 20 minutes. It was that man Roman Legavec again who calmed the nerves as he picked up the ball outside the area on the left and hit a superb strike to put Town 4-1 up
The home side did scramble a goal in added time but the Town lads celebrated the 3 points at the end with the gaffer Christian Evans full of smiles as he came off the pitch
