It was a tough encounter at Parc Ynysderw between two of the better sides in the Division as Pontardawe Town, undefeated in 5 games, met Morriston Town in a local derby for the first time for many a season

It was a pretty even affair throughout the 90 minutes which was well marshalled by referee Sam Lloyd from Newport. Pontardawe though had the better of the chances and, at times, showed why they had gone so long undefeated

On 19 minutes Pontardawe were awarded a free kick and up stepped top goalscorer Roman Legavec who gave Steve Cann in the visitors goal no chance with a superb free kick. The home side nearly extended the lead on a couple of occasions with Arnold Ncube have a great game and being a complete pain to the visiting defence

After half time the game the visitors had the majority of possession but didn't create too much to worry the home defence and it was Pontardawe who saw the game out comfortably in the end despite not securing the second goal that would have calmed the nerves
